SCAN USING THE PRINTER’S CONTROL PANEL

Scan Using The Printer’s Control Panel
  • Before you start to scan, ensure to install the printer driver and the required scanner driver on your computer.
  • Now, open the scanner lid on your Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 printer.
  • Load the document with the print side down on the scanner glass.
  • Go to the printer’s control panel and press the Home button.

  • Select the Start button on your computer and launch the Epson Scan 2 application using the search bar at the bottom of the window.

  • Next, select the Document Source field under the Main Settings tabp and choose where you have loaded the document to scan on your printer.
  • Click the Document Size field and choose the respective size of the document that you are scanning with your Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 printer.
  • Now, go to the Image Type field and select the option using which you want to scan your document.
  • Select the Resolution field and choose the respective option you wish to use from the drop-down list.
  • If you want to preview the document you are scanning, click the Preview button at the bottom of the window.
  • Next, select the Advanced Settings tab next to the Main Settings tabp.
  • Choose any settings you want to use.
  • Go to the Image Format field and select how to save the scanned document.
  • Now, click the File Name field and enter the name for the document you are scanning.
  • Select the Folder field and choose the location to save the document you are scanning with your Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 printer.
  • Finally, click the Scan button at the bottom of the window.
  • Your original document will now be scanned and saved in the specified folder location.
