HP scanner sometimes may not scan documents for various reasons. Remove the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP's official website.

Run the downloaded HPPSdr.exe file as administrator.

After the installation, open the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, and then click Start.

Choose your printer. If your printer model name is not shown, Check the printer physically. If it is turned off, turn it on and then click Retry in the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool.

If there is still a connectivity problem, choose Fix Scanning error and follow the guide in the tool.
Once the HP Print and Doctor scan has resolved the issue, try to scan from your HP Printer.
