How Do I Download HP Scan Software?

Step 1

• Visit the official HP web page.
• Click the Software and Drivers tab at the top of the page.

Step 2

• Select the Printers option.
• Type the model name of your printer in the Enter product name field.
• Once you click the Submit button, you will see your printer’s driver page on the screen.

Step 3

• Your computer’s OS will be detected automatically.
• If you want to change the detected Operating System, click the Choose a different OS link.
• This will open the Change Preferred Operating System dialog box.
• Choose your computer’s OS from the Operating System drop-down menu.
• Select the OS version of your computer from the Version drop-down menu.
• Click the Change button.

Step 4

• Navigate to the All Drivers section followed by the Driver section.
• Click the Download link next to the HP Full Feature Software and Drivers file.

Step 5

• After downloading the software on your computer, double-click it to start the installation.
• Proceed with the instructions to finish the HP Scan software installation.
• Note: While installing, make sure to specify your connection type.
• Once done, you can use the HP scan software to perform scanning.
