Step 1: Before you begin to scan

  • To scan the document from the printer to your computer, you must ensure that both the printer and computer are connected. Either connect the devices using a USB cable or connect them over a wireless network.
  • Check whether you have a stable internet connection. In case of a wired connection, make sure the USB cable is connected firmly.

Step 2: Load originals


  • Plug in the Kodak printer to the main power source and turn it on.
  • Open the ADF paper tray on your printer and move the paper edge guides to their maximum.
  • Insert the document you want to scan into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
  • Move in the paper edge guides to touch the edge of the paper.

On scanner glass

  • Turn on the printer and lift the scanner lid on your printer.
  • Place the paper on the scanner glass and lower the lid.

Step 3: Scanning to computer

  • Click on the Home icon on your printer’s control panel.
  • Access the directional keys and navigate to the Scan option.
  • Choose to Scan to Computer option.
  • Press/touch OK to confirm your selection. Carry on with the on-screen instructions.
  • Select your computer from the prompted list and stick to the instruction.
  • You can now press/touch Start Black or Start Color option. 
  • And finally, select Scan. You can find the scanned documents/photos on your system.
