ADDING THE PRINTER TO HP SMART
Download and install HP Smart on your Windows 10 computer.
Once successfully installed, launch the HP Smart app.
On the startup screen, click Continue and then Yes.
You’ll be prompted to choose the following options.
Set Up a New Printer – Set up a new HP printer or connect to the already set up printer.
Sign in – For creating a new HP account or signing in to an HP account. If you are asked to verify your account, follow on-screen procedures to get the verification code.
Skip for now – Navigates to the application's home screen.
Now, choose Add Printer or Plus sign on the app's home screen.
Select the printer that you wish to set up.
Sometimes, the HP Smart app may fail to find your printer during the initial search. If so, click on Set Up a New Printer.
Choose the connection method.
Follow the on-screen steps to finish the setup.
If the printer is not detected, close the app, turn off your printer, and restart the procedure.

Once you have set up your printer on the HP Smart app, click the Scan tile to scan a document or image.
Click Get Started.
In the Scan window, change auto-enhancement and settings, including document or photo type, page size, source, resolution, and output type.
A scan preview will be displayed on your screen.
Note: You can add a page to your scan, organize multi-page scans, modify file name or type, or make changes to the scan in the preview window.
After editing, click Done.
Next, choose what to do with your scan. You can choose to Print, Save, Share, Smart Tasks, and Fax.
Your scan job is completed.
