PREPARING THE PRINTER

Epson XP-410 is an all-in-one printer that comes with great scan features. Using this printer, you can scan and save the document to the computer or email as per your preferences. The different scan options offered by this printer are listed below:

To scan a document, you have to prepare your printer for the same.

  • Turn on the Epson XP-410 printer if it is turned off.
  • Complete the printer’s hardware setup if you haven’t done it yet.
  • Similarly, install the necessary scanner driver on your computer if you haven’t installed it yet.
  • For Scan to Computer (JPEG, PDF, and Email): Connect your printer to the computer over a USB or network connection.
  • For Scan to Memory Card: Insert a memory card into your printer’s memory card slot.
  • For Scan to Cloud: Register a cloud account with Epson Connect.

SCANNING A DOCUMENT

Scanning A Document
  • Load the original document or photo you want to scan on your Epson printer’s scanner glass.
  • Press the Home button.
  • Select the Scan option using the arrow buttons.
  • Now, the Scan screen will open.
  • Select the Scan to Memory Card, Scan to Cloud, Scan to PC (JPEG), Scan to PC (PDF), Scan to PC (WSD), or Scan to (Email) option as per your preferences.
  • Configure the scan settings as per your preferences.
  • If you have selected the Scan to PC option, select your computer name from the list or the USB Connection option to select and save the scanned document to the connected PC.
  • Finally, press the Start button on your printer’s control panel.
  • Now, your printer will start scanning the placed document.
  • Once the printer completes the scan operation, the copy of the scanned document will be saved to the selected destination.
