How To Do Xerox Scan To PC Setup?

Xerox printers are known for their performance and reliability. Some Xerox printers can scan or copy documents along with printing. The scanning service allows users to create a digital version of a hard copy document sent remotely from a connected computer. Xerox Scan to PC function lets you scan any document remotely from the computer connected to the printer via a USB or network connection. Using The Scan To Pc Icon On The Printer Control Panel:

First, turn on your Xerox printer and place the original document on the scanner glass.

If your printer has an ADF, you can load the original document into it.

Next, connect your printer and computer via a USB cable or over a wireless network.

Download Xerox Easy Printer Manager from the official Xerox site and install it on your computer.

After installing Easy Printer Manager, launch it.

Choose your printer’s name from the Printer menu.

Select Advanced Setting or Machine Settings at the top of the Xerox Easy Printer Manager window.

Click the Scan to PC Settings button to configure the Scan to PC settings.

Select Enable next to Scan activation.

Choose the required scan features from the following options for xerox scan to pc setup.

Output Color or Color Mode

Original Type

Scan Size

Resolution

Darkness or Lighten/Darken

Select The File Settings From The Following Options:

Save to
File Formatting
OCR Language
If necessary, choose an option for Actions after Saving.
Finally, click Save to save your scan and file settings.
You have now enabled the scan from Xerox Easy Printer Manager.
Go to your printer’s control panel and press the Home button.
Tap the Scan to PC icon on the touchscreen panel (if applicable).

Choose the destination computer from the displayed list.
Specify the required scan settings and tap Scan to begin the scanning process.
For duplex scanning, from the scanner glass, tap Yes when the first page has been scanned. Otherwise, select No and press the Home button.
Your original document will be scanned and saved to the connected computer.
